Hey djenders, do you know how many mm drop you did? and also is this picture of the loading level or is it on the lowest "driveable" level?

 

Sorry I did not measure. Just turned the links until it would go as low as I could get it without bottom out on the st.

That setting is the lowest setting in the pic.

I fitted these over 12months back to my CTT and unfortunatley found them a complete waste of money. To obtain any meaningful drop on the car visually, the ride quality was appalling and I couldnt stand it any longer so after trying many variations I gave up and screwed them back up to standard setting.
I agree that the tracking and camber angles are thrown way out too.
I also found that they rusted badly in no time so that you could no longer adjust them without taking them off placing them in releaseall (WD40) and hoping they would free off.
Seemed like the ideal solution but IMO a waste of money.

 

Theres no real strength needed for the arms ( the originals are plastic) as they just measure relative ride height and stop the car at the desired height by means of a sensor. Nothing to do with the mechanics as such.

 

This is only for air suspenion i guess?

I was very skeptical but considered these myself. I ultimately went with the FVD lowering module and am very pleased.

 

I also have the FVD lowering module... do you find that your CTT lowers when you pull up to a light after travelling at 45+mph? If I set my suspension at the "normal" setting I see that mine lowers each time I hit a stop light.

 

These are completely safe and work great. Not quite the flexibility of a module but still allows me to use the air system and lower my ride substantially.

 

Yes, that is normal operation. It raises at speed to ensure a smooth ride on the highway.

 

Hearing stories of rusting links scared me away too. Went with the TechArt module (no splicing) and pretty happy.
