1yr/ 12k service

My car needs its first service and i was wondering if there was a website that i can see the exact things that are part of the first year service? Also, what is the approximate cost at the dealer?

thanks,

BD

Which Cayenne do you have, and where are you located?

If you have the V6 the 1y or 10K service is just an oil and filter change. Dealer hit me for $240 in Westchester County, NY.

Yes, i have the V6. I am in Boston, MA. I think my dealer charges less than $300. But they give Cayenne loaners so its acceptable... but i would pay $500 to get a Carrera S for 24hrs!!!

My dealer gives a PCA discount, so my 10K service was only $180, ($240 for non-members or if you don't present your card at write-up) and they always give a V6 Cayenne loaner; but, last time they were out of V6's and gave me a 2006 Cayenne S with 230 miles on it. I took it home for the day and enjoyed checking out the V8 experience.

Jesus, $240 for an oil/filter change is ridiculous. How many quarts of the black stuff does the V6/V8 take?

Going rate at the dealers in these parts- 9 qts Mobil 1.
Like I said, they give a PCA discount so it was about $180 + tax.

Thats not too bad. I remember paying around $90 for my Audi at the dealership (when I still got it serviced there) but it doesn't take nearly as much Mobil Uno. However while I was under the full warranty everything was free.

I guess it just surprises me everytime I hear the outrageous prices dealers charge.

Local Porsche specailist charges about $200, so for an extra $40 it can be worth it to take it to the dealer and maintain a relationship.
