Never heard that one, I guess it depends on how much excess there is.

I have been told by several Techs to just stay away from them and run BMC. Lets just hope none of our own here at 6Speed experience any mass air failures due to K&N.

Yeh, it sounded HELLA-GOOD

And, just an FYI, any oiled air filter with too much oil on it will eventually affect the MAF sensor. BMCs come pretty heavily oiled, so cleaning these before installation wouldnt be a bad idea.

Never heard that before. The plastic wrap around the filter showed no signs of oil, nor did the box which it sart on while I ate dinner and chased the munchkins around the house. I'm going to have to do a little inspection tomorrow if I get a chance to get in the garage and install that Fabspeed bypass pipe I bought from Str8blast.
Anyone here have MAF issues due to a BMC??

V6
BMC Filter, Fabspeed bypass going in this week, MOTO Bluettoth Car kit IHF1000. hardwired my V1 to Homelink, Rennline dead pedal, aluminum trim pieces, replaced that plastic blank under the rear vents with aluminum trrimmed shelf for my son's gameboy, clear side markers, Tequipment rubber mats anf rear cargo mat, and 2 sets of 18" turbo wheels- 1 summer setup and 1 summer setup. I also have the Tequipment transport system, the larger roofbox, and the large ski rack.
Rear turbo valance and sport tips will get done this summer.

I hopre to move Mrs. BobbySpeed into the Cayenne in December and get a 993 C4S.

Check out Hendrady's v6 clips on here and YouTube- his car is hot!
