I've replaced xenons, halogens and god knows what, and we're talking about max 15 minutes with no instructions at all. It's not that hard.

Regarding mail: on your convenience)))
Regarding changing two bulbs: pretty same procedure like with halogen, but will you find HID bulb like original(or which can be fit and connected as original) on any gas station in USA? Great!!!!! Original bulb very expensive. But I think replacing bulbs will fix problem, Q is should dealer do it for free)

I finally took pics of the HIDs...
I noticed the following tonight:
At start up, both sides look exactly the same (purple/white) but the passenger side quickly (as the bulbs warm up) changes to light blue/yellow/white/green ish.
It seems that the passenger side color is getting worse... it kinda has a hint of green/light blue/yellow now. The driver's side is pretty purple/white (which is how its suppose to be). Its hard to see this on the photos... Here are the pics nonetheless:

I don't see why this wouldn't fit in the "bumper-to-bumper" warranty...

DRIVER SIDE (THE ONE THAT IS WORKING PROPERLY):

PASSENGER SIDE (notice the hint of green on the sides):

Warranty do not cover bulbs usually. In your case lamb will be replaced soon.

HID bulbs, as they age, turn more blue / white. Philips offers a replacement bulb specifically for older bulbs in case one fails and you can thus match them up. It looks like you might have a faulty HID bulb thats changing kelvin grades prematurely, it happens.

But, as the light is essentially 'working' it could be a tough warranty claim.

The bulb is a D1S which is not so easy to find 'cheap' on the web unfortunately either.

Slim chance it could be the ballast, swap bulbs and see if it does it on the other side. if so then warranty = no problem as its the eletronic ballast thats not working well.

I will swap bulbs when I have time then...
So if defective ballast = warranty replacement and if defective bulb = not warranty since it still works?

Not necessarily, depends on your relationship with the service manager. I would push for a replacement if it turns out to be the bulb and cite safety concerns with the service manager. I see your in SoCal, try McKenna, had good experience with them.

I actually bought my car at McKenna... though I had a very bad experience purchasing the car, the new guy at the service department is very nice . I'll try to convince him to replace it hehehe.

I finally had the chance to switch the bulbs... and it appears that its the bulb thats messed up because the yellowish light is now on the driver's side . I will definitely talk to the service guy tomorrow and persuade them to change that bulb since its defective... bastards better replace it under warranty as the car is merely months old! I'll update tomorrow night.

Dealer is going to replace my defective bulb... though they had to order it since they don't have it in stock. I just hope that the new bulb will match the current properly working one... sigh.

After changing the bulbs last time... I think that my headlights are aiming too high. How do I lower it? Couldn't find it in the manual... or is it too complicated and I should just take it to the dealer? I might be going to the dealer to get the bulb replaced finally.
