Actually our prices are down about 3k CDN to compensate for the exchange. Porsche dealers were complaining about too many US cars coming into Canada

I don't know if $3K is going to make a whole lot diference. My TT was almost $50K higher in Canada compared to the US price.

I do remember hearing about the 50k on the 997TT which makes anybody wonder why Porsche took so long to something about their prices.

Although a bit less drastic, the gap on Cayennes had to be fixed somewhat which they did by increasing the US price and lowering the CDN price... CDN dollar lost a few points so at the end of the day after paying 6% duty, there isn't that much difference...

A few years ago it's canadian cars that were goin south...

Anything american is a bargain... There's some incredible deals to be made for canadians buying american cars in the states... The only downside is the resistance of dealers doing any warranty work on these cars

It would appear that the '08 Cayenne's are priced a little more sensibly in Canada compared to the US. I'm currently looking at a new '06 CTTS at my dealer. This model seems to be priced on the same model as my 997TT so depending on a decent deeeeeeeep discount, I may consider looking stateside or waiting and ordering an '08.

Nice looking Cayenne btw.

The 08 CTT is going to be faster than the 06 CTTS so I would definitely go for 08... You'll be able to strike an amazing deal on an 06 though but the depreciation might be a huge factor with the new model hitting showroom floors in a few weeks...
