Rockitman,
A conservative gain would be in 10-12HP area. In our "power kits" for Cayenne tt we have noticed gains in the +20 HP area from our high flow catalysts in addition to improved low end throttle response.

Rockitman,
The High Flow Cats replace the secondary cats. The Primary Cats are left untouched. Initial dyno tests actually showed a loss of HP when the secondary cats were replaced with Cat By-pass pipes.

Dont take this as an offense> The Cargraphic rear muffler looks very nice and well executed as do the tips HOWEVER>>>
I know and like Herschel and his operation..........BUT the GERMANS TUNERS are OUTRIGHT LYING ONCE AGAIN. Dont you nor anyone believe and or assume that any TURBOCHARGED car and or Normally aspirated car NEEDS or REQUIRES backpressure to maximize power.
The "backpressure maintenance scenario" is the oldest BULL**** wives tale to protect sales and distribuition of German racing catalytic converters---- for Chrissake when is it going to end!
In each and ever DYNO test and or RACETRACK test similar cars without cats outperformed cars with stock cats and/or racecats.
Its a typical German sales tactic to sell overpriced rediculously expensive racing catalytic converters as they are very lucrative.
I personally have heard the "sales tactic so many times" from ***** Brombcaher and other Germans.........add thick validating Germanic Euro accent.........."On the DYNO and Autobahn in Germany.....the hosepower is less without our cats. You must BUY our entire package with der racing cats as it is all engineered together.
German racing catalytic converters have been mentioned by German tuners as MANDATORY for ULTIMATE power on each and every normally aspirated Porsche 993, Boxster, 996, GT3 and 997 cars.
Its all BULL****. If anyone is looking for maximum available power one can ditch the cats and run catbypass pipes you will save significant money and gain more horsepower and torque all over the map.
Regarding the above removing emissions control devices obviously doesnt comply with emissions laws and is for off road use only.
ADDITIONALLY-I submit that for a PURELY street driven non turbo car only--- leaving on the STOCK 993, 986, GT3, 997 cats is the way to go as you save alot of money and racing cats gains over stock cats are miniscule.
FACTOID>>>There are 2 sets of catalytic converters on each and every CAYENNE TWIN TURBO and "S" and VW V8 Touareg and 2000-2005 Boxster---------DELETING the second set of catalytic converters with Fabspeed stainless steel bypass pipes is a simple bolt-on procedure that is 100% guaranteed to work and cheap and efective power with NO CHECK engine light and you will pass emissions tests. Its not rocket science folks............dont let them tell you it is.
Have a great thanksgiving!
DYNO RESULTS of Cayenne TT and 993 3.6L and 3.8RS and 2004 GT3 and soon 997"S"(soon 997S) with variuos Fabspeed Motorsport exhaust systems (with and without cats) posted on website.

You got there before me Joe. How can reducing flow increase HP. Must be some physics I am not aware, back pressure = reduced HP anywhere on my planet.
Therefore No Cat = Best but thats illegal, 2 cats to control emissions on the Cayenne works for me anything additional creating back pressure is insane.

Don't have a Turkey JOE!
Relax Brother it’s Thanksgiving. Remember a time to be thankful for all that we have; I do not know why you have taken so much offense to Erik's post. He was simply responding to an inquiry from a customer. Keep in mind that the data compiled by Cargraphic or other "German Tuners" is compiled by 1st. extensive product R&D 2nd. Use of proper materials" 3rd. extensive Dyno, road & Track testing. .. Then and only then is the product released to the public for sale. As you know the manufacturing for our Cats and mufflers is done at our plant "phoenix" (I believe you have used some of the components), This plant has been around for 20 years and uses the latest manufacturing technologyand processes available. Hence the Pretty looking muffler you refer to. Here is where I believe you should control your knee jerk. Where is your base for R&D? Ambler PA? NO. It is a plant somewhere that makes exhaust systems for heavy equipment. What is your basis for HP Gains? your Dyno? ours is German TUV. Some may know that TUV is a manufacturing and testing standard that requires that particular components perform a specific improved function i.e. exhaust upgrades need not exceed certain DB levels and that overall use and function improve HP, Flow and with body work that it improve downforce. its broader than that but you get the picture the stuff has to improve functionality and drivability, these terrible German components you speak of are certified by an independent federally monitored sanctioning body and not churned out of some propaganda machine in Ambler Pa. or my "buddies" Dyno and Computer. The "German Tuners" that you have managed to Vilify in your post have collectively been around for over 100 years and have all managed to work together in harmony both in Europe and the U.S. Cargraphic,Techart,Gemballa,FVD, Europipe,RUF, all the obvious scam artists and snake oil salesman have managed to pull the wool over the worlds eyes until Fabiani enterprises has exposed us. We have all decided that it was our duty to spend 100 of thousands of dollars in developing an emissions compliant catalyseur to dupe the world into spending big money rather than giving the world 30 instant HP from a set of $150.00 By-pass pipes. Come on Joe I thought you would have known better, Look at all the tuners participating in this year Tuner Grand Prix: Gemaballa 750HP running Highflow Cats;Techart 700HP running Cats. 9FF Running Cats. Is this all part of the greater conspiracy?
I know bypasses are easy to make and are profitable, we offer By-passes for certain applications as well, where it MAKES HP, Cayenne S,996 and certain other applications. My 700HP 1987 Grand National had a Bypass on it. It made HP, albeit with a little more Turbo lag, my buddies 92 Mustang GT. yup bypasses and guess what that made HP. So your theory of throw the cats away and make HP applies, but unfortunately this in not 1987 anymore..
(Too bad I had a good time in the 80's,) Enough Tongue and cheek. Here is the fact Joe, The Cayenne Turbo and MK2 GT-3 especially DO NOT MAKE HP FROM CAT BY PASSES. These vehicles are much more sophisticated than the Mustangs and Grand Nationals of the 80’s, Porsche has found a way to make backpressure our friends by manipulating various levels of Backpressure throughout the RPM range to improve HP, Throttle Response, Fuel efficiency, Removing the cats on these vehicles has shown a loss of HP time and time again, We say it the other evil "German Tuners" say it and TUV says it. Believe me Joe I would love to sell a By-pass in our Cayenne or GT-3 Power kits It would be a lot more economical. But I cannot sell a product to my clients that will lose HP and roll the dice and hope they do not Dyno test. Hype and propaganda can take you only so far. Also Keep in mind most customers are not looking for just peak HP, They want improved performance and drivability, HP Gains at 9200 RPM really does not matter in the real world.
Go back and read Erik's post he never singled you or anyone else out. Chris Rockit man, who happens to be a friend of ours as we have enjoyed a few fun drives together, simply asked a question, we have a duty to provide an honest answer to that question. When he was in the market for a Cayenne Muffler I never dissuaded him from making the purchase, as many have said before there is plenty of customers in this market. Joe we at cargraphic make it a practice not to bash or malign anyone else’s product in pursuit of a sale. This is simply not necessary; Our product works and is of the highest quality as are many of the products offered today by German or domestic Tuners and Manufacturers. The customer will decide based on various reasons, not Propaganda and Hype.
Sorry for the long post, and Joe Chill out have a drink eat some turkey, and lay off the "EVIL GERMAN TUNERS" They are really very nice people that happen to know a thing or two about Porsche's
Dont worry we Love you Joe
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone

Wonder if your IP address matches Joe's ..
He is known for bolstering his claims with Imaginary people.
