Cayenne Cheaper than a Boxster ???

Looking at the web and mags I saw the new Porsche add for the 07 Base Cayenne for $ 43,400 usd Manual cheaper than the Boxster !!! never thought about it but seems to be a good option for my wife.

I believe it is good value for the Money there will be the 2nd. Porsche in my Family . I will keep my Vintage Porsche and she could drive the Cayenne to the Mall, Highway, Haul , whatever.

We have only a 3 month Baby so it will be Plenty of room for stuff and that , she loves the BMX X3 but I think nothing beats a Porsche !!!! A lot of safety features and bigger than the BMW.

The only down is that is MANUAL !!!

What do you think ? Is there anybody with this kind of Dilemma ?

You'd have to order such a Cayenne... basically they ALL come with TIP, MOONROOF, MATS minimum...

You'd be lucky to find one @ $48,700... and the 08's in the showrooms are all packaged similarly at $53,760...

So the 43K 08 Cayenne is pretty much "mythical"...

I recently bought an '08 w/ a sticker of $50,750 for 5% off ($48,200). It's a V6 and comes w/ the Preferred Package A, which includes Tip. It is possible to keep it under $50k after a decent discount.

you should just order one with auto.
i think resale value on a 5 speed on a luxury suv is not gonna be very good.

Lil Raja : That will be a good point though and basically with the type of Traffic we have in Mexico the Auto will be a bless for her. Every single SUV or Truck has Auto Trans nowadays : Honda , Toyota , GM , Ford you name it . Then a Manual Cayenne ? It is odd. If it was for me I will prefer the Manual anyday.
