Cayenne Running Very Rough.

Cayenne Running Very Rough.
05 Cayenne S with 28k on the clock.
The car feels pretty rough, I don't know how to explain it, but it doesn't feel like it shifts when it's supposed to (rev pretty high), and when it does, it doesn't feel smooth.
Also, the tracion light starts flashing sometimes when in 2nd, and 3rd (driving slowly).
Anyone have any of these problems, I will take it to the dealership and see what the problem is, but I want see if it's a common issue.
My tires are really bad, looking for new wheels and tires, that's why I haven't replaced them. But I doubt that has to do with anything.

We never got the issue resolved and ended up trading the car in last week for a Cayenne Turbo. I was going to try and lemon law the car but decided to forgo the hassle and get into the Turbo because i was offered a deal I just could not refuse....
