Talking My Cayenne is Work Horse

Today was a normal day hauling boxes to and from my storage locations to customers and to get ready for Monday's shipping. I pulled up at my main place and the neighboring owner just shook his head laughing and asked if I really beat up a Porsche hauling 70+lb packages all day.

I had never really thought it strange but the more I that I think about it maybe I am crazy. I purchased my Cayenne for the sole purpose of using it as a work truck. I guess I just wanted to "do work" in style

Does anyone else here use the cayenne for similar duties?

Yep... all the time. Always taking 10-15 boxes to ship out. It definitely takes some organization, but it can be done. If any says anything, I just say it was either this or my carrera.

I use mine to haul tons of stuff. The worst thing though is the process to get the back seats down. With my 4.6is X5 you just had to fold down the back. This thing with removing the headrests, moving the front seats forward, pulling up the seats then folding down the back, what a pain in the ***!!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! I will agree that the back seat is a PITA to put down. I've had a problem with the plastic bump stops breaking on the tops of the seats too. I now keep pillows underneath the seat backs just incase those things break to avoid the risk of tearing the leather.

I use mine to take my tractor over to my father-in-laws on a 4 X 8 trailer to do his lawn for him.

i saw a cayenne film car just like that on santa monica the other day in west hollywood. I thought to myself hmm...so when they take the script to their investor, with the itemized list of money they need, I wonder if its actaully listed as a cayenne or just *filming equipment* haha.

Kudos! Glad to see you using the Porsche SUV as an actual utility vehicle.
