Driver seat cover issue

Hi all, just curious...I have the leather in my CTT that is kind of bunched (I forget what they call it) and my driver's seat had become worn thru the finish at 29K. This is a 2005 so no way should that have happened already. Anyway, the dealer agreed to replace the bottom cushion cover. When I picked the car up, the color doesn't match. The new bottom is more of a beige while the rest of the cars leather is more of a gold beige (more yellow in it). Also, I notice the center sections feel kind of funny, like maybe they aren't leather. Did porsche make a seat cover that looks like leather that the dealer may have used? I'm the second owner of this car and I love it (BTW, I'm new to this forum and there's great info here so hi everyone) but I'm not sure how tough I should be with the dealer on this. To me it just doesn't look or feel right. Any suggestions? I did purchase the car from the same dealer servicing it. Thanks

40 people looked at this and no one has an opinion or can answer my questions? Can someone at least answer whether Porsche made leatherette available on a cayenne? I've never felt leather that felt kind of rubbery...anyone with a new Cayenne that can tell me how their brand new seats feel? I'm going back to the dealer this afternoon so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I really can't help, but if you add some comment about the amount of horsepower it has added you will stand a better chance of getting an answer.

Well, how much do you weigh?

You probably have the upgraded full-leather interior in your CTT. If you have the standard cheap leather like what I have in my Cayenne S, then you may not have this problem.

BTW, porsche's response was that they won't pay to fix...nice huh. Buy a $100K CTT and a worn out seat cover at 30K is not their problem. It's not a wear and tear issue, it's a materials quality issue. The factory reps response when I told the dealer they would not be gettting my business (Porsche) in the future was "we don't care, we'll get another customer"...Their arrogance is just unbelievable. Thank god the dealer is stepping up to do the right thing here because if you had to rely on Porsche to do so you'd have quite the wait. How long can they be this arrogant and not have it hurt them where it counts?
