I remember them selling for as low as $1000/set of 4, with new tires on them.

They look good. How's the ride?

Do they help with the air conditioning?

Well for a 2006 used cayenne S from the Porsche Dealer in Taiwan would go for about USD$110,000.00. If you buy grey market cayenne S in Taiwan like alot of people do, it would go for about just over USD$90,000.00. When new a 2006 Cayenne S was going for USD$145,000.00.

Racer 65, The wheels alone cost over $1000...I doubt anyone was selling new ones with tires (which in that size, even the cheapest crap would run $200 a tire) for $1000 w/tires new. I looked for quite some time before purchasing...no way $1000 w/tires...sorry. Not sure what your motivation is for even saying that other than to make everyone who wants or has them feel like they got ripped off? These are excellent quality wheels, as good as anything else I've seen, and that includes most of the other gravity cast wheels which just for the name cost quite a bit more.

My apologies. Aftermarket 20" Technos with new Michelin Diamaris tires were offered on Ebay for around $2150 (Example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=190093922868). Buying as a package will save some money, since these tires cost $338 a piece on Tire Rack before shipping, taxes, and mount (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....g=T&minLoad=XL). Therefore, you get the wheels for way under $1000.
Sorry, bud, you may still have been ripped off !

Sorry, bud, you may still have been ripped off !

Read the ad "bud"...those are 20" wheels...they are sold everywhere...not the same as the 22"'s we are discussing. Sorry any reasonable quality 22" wheel for $300 a wheel is a good deal...of course if you buy a set w/tire and mounting etc you can get a marginally better deal. Why do you find it neccesary to **** on everyone's parade here? We all like what we bought, others seems to like them too. All I'm saying is just get your facts straight before you start throwing prices around and making people believe they got a poor deal. The 22's had, at least when I bought mine, very limited availability. I even called your source above, he couldn't even get them...and apparently they are still hard to get from others posts. Don't mean to flame, just want to set the facts straight. Thanks
