Most of the damage are to the body coloured panels/trim pieces and the chrome on the side. Does any one know since 05 is body coloured, do they come in the correct black or do they have to be painted. I'm going to have to make sure the insurance company doesn't screw me and try to say I need the black ones from an 04 which aren't painted or something...

I can't answer your question, but I am feeling your pain.

P.S. Did you drive into a pile of bricks, or did they fall off the back of a truck or something?? Cause the damage you are describing doesn't seem "too" bad, considering that it was a pile of bricks.

ohh. that sucks, but the good thing is this didnt happen at high speeds. It would be pretty scary seeing bricks flying at you!!

Any update from the insurance company?

Well the insurance company is quoting part prices that are so low I can't believe it, luckily my buddy owns a body shop and is an "approved" shop for my insurance company so if he can't get OEM parts for the prices they quoted, he will just get them anyway he can and bill the insurance company.

So in the end the only thing that sucks is $250 deductible and loss of vehicle for 3-4 days. and no-one was hurt which is a big one....
