Looking for owners of CTT w/aftermarket Muffler only
Do you have a CTT w/an aftermarket muffler only? Looking for feedback on sound levels and interior noise. No cat replacement, just the rear muffler replacement only. I have a Tubi being removed today due to droning and it's too loud. I'm looking for something that is between stock and the Tubi. Anyone w/Just the Fabspeed muffler? Or even more interesting to me is the Milltek cat back with resonators. Any feedback would be appreciated. Looking for deep and refined, not too loud and NOT a sound like a F-150 pickup truck. Thanks
I know this doesn't answer what you are asking but I just had FVD bypass pipes installed today and it is exactly what I wanted. Nice V8 burble at idle and great sound as the RPM's climb.
I have a RUF sport exhaust kit installed. Go to www.rufautocentre.com for more information. At idle it sounds like a muscle car - makes me smile, ear-to-ear. I have stock tips.
When driving, if you don't put your foot into the floorboard, the sound is slightly louder than stock. But, when the turbos kick in, it is very throaty (not droning), in a good way (IMHO). It is not for wall-flower personalities. Many Cayenne owners give me "thumbs up" when they hear the exhaust note.
I'll try to post a sound recording of the exhaust at idle and on the road soon.
