Opinions needed: Q7 or CTT(S)

I did post a few days ago asking all your opinions regarding an 06 CTTS or 08CT.
Well yesterday I went to the Audi dealership and saw the Q7 4.2 S-line. It is such a pretty car, very well made inside and out. And it sure is priced very well. But it lacks in the power range, when compared to the Porsche.

Here are my options:

06 CTTS - most expensive
06 CTT (with E81 package) - cheaper than the CTTS
08 Q7 4.2 S-Line: cheapest and the newest model.

The Audi does have everythig going for it, good warrantly, looks, functionality, but coming from a 996tt, I may miss the power. I sure will save a lot going with the CTT(S).
Financially, I may loose less money on the Audi.

I do want to go for the Audi, but the only thing holding me back is the power.

Anyone here own a Q7, or have experience with them? Your inputs would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I agree, wait for the W12, not sure when it's coming out. but I wouldn't get a Audi. My friend has one, it's a nice car, but the lack of power is bad. the throttle response is worse. And he ordered his black on black. when he got the car there was a rattling noise and dealer said they can't find the problem.

My take on is that the Cayenne Turbo is a much better car as far as power and drivability (Remember, the Q7 doesn't have a low range). I would agree that the exterior is very ugly from the C-Pillar on, but I do love the front-end of the car. And I definitely disagree that the interior is better on the Cayenne. I think the Q7's interior crushes the Cayenne. I just can't get over the lack of power and the minivan look of the rear of the Q7. I did the CTTS and haven't looked back since. It really comes down to what floats your boat. There's not a bad choice among the 3 you are deciding between.

What about an X5 4.8? They are quick and handle great. Can't knock BMW's warranty either, just gas and tires is all you worry about for 4yrs/50K..........

those are so different i really think you need to define the needs curve otherwise the question just doesn't make sense.

with that criteria, the q7 will not suffice. CTTS or bust!
