Fabspeed MSP 958 Cayenne Secondary Catbypass Pipes
i just installed them on my gts. they sound amazing! when you are not in sport mode the sound is not noticeable unless you are in high revs. but when in sport and starting up the car it is a beast. i'm really happy with it.
I'm expecting my set to arrive early next week. Not sure if i will attempt the install but excited nonetheless.
[QUOTE=DrVolkl;4056305]Can you post a vid just driving with it in normal mode? Even for a bit?
I'm actually leaning towards getting these now...[/QUOTE

Great video... outside revs, drive bys, and inside clips are perfect. Tip for all aftermarket exhaust companies if they want to sell, IMO. Really impressed that the interior sound did not change much but noticeably louder outside. Also, good to know that the exhaust note does not change, but really becomes louder as is. Thanks.

That is a great video... just wish it was a GTS. I believe the GTS exhaust is louder than the "S" and thus may be quite a bit louder with the pipes.
I'm just scared that the car will be too obnoxious.

I've heard GTS and it's not that much louder than an S. Don't think it'll be obnoxious.
One thing of note though that the video didn't catch.... cold start can be loud though.

I did wait until the pipes cooled so i was off to a good start

Unfortunately, I'm struggling with connecting the pipes at the clamp end.
I cannot get the clamp tight enough since the Fabspeed pipe is a tad bit smaller than the factory pipe.
They also don't line up perfectly which doesn't help matters either.
Starting the regret the DIY.

Any advice you can offer based on your install? Anyone else?

Hi. I have no experience with them but I thought I read a posting a while back that referred to the same problem. You could search for that and I would think contacting the company would also be wise. Good luck !
Update:
After contacting Fabspeed today, we solved my issue.
While embarrassed, i want to provide an update so others may not make the same mistake.
The truth of the matter is that i should have verified compatibility.
The bypass pipes were bought from a forum member over on Rennlist.
He installed them on his new GTS for all of two days before uninstalling.
The pipes and his Sport Exhaust were louder than what he preferred.
I, on the other hand, have a 958 CTT.
Both the seller and I thought they were compatible and we closed the deal in short order.
Unfortunately, neither one of us had any idea the pipes were not compatible (GTS to Turbo).
What's absolutely amazing is that the forum member is bending over backward, to the point that i feel guilty.
Yes, i spent the better part of a weekend on my back in my garage trying to make something work that never was gonna work!
However, it really wasn't his responsibility to ensure compatibility.
The seller ordered a new set of bypass pipes direct from Fabspeed and is having them shipped direct to me at his expense.
He asked me to send the GTS pipes back to him and he will attempt to sell, again.
Lesson learned, the Fabspeed CBP pipes for the 958 GTS and Turbo are not compatible!
There's a reason when you go to Suncoast.com and look at the Fabspeed pipes, you have to choose what model Cayenne you have upon checkout.
Wow....i am almost speechless.
There are amazing people on this earth and i'm thinking how i can pass on a good dead as he has to me.

That is some story. He really did go all out to help you. It is nice to know that there are people like that out there. And it is nice of you to think of passing on the good deed to someone else if the chance arises. Glad you figured it out.
