Some car shoes tend to have an excessively narrow heel, such that left/right tipping sideways is kind of a problem. I'm delighted to say that's NOT the situation with the Hunzikers I bought. They have a decently wide, but not excessively so, heel. Rounded well enough to avoid driving issues, but flat enough to avoid ankle problems when walking. Unlike my Gucci driving shoes, those darned things nearly cause twisted ankles if I make the mistake of walking in them.
