Im confused. 2011 cayenne question.

can someone post a closeup pic of "wheel arch extensions" on the 2011 cayenne.
I have one but I dont think I have the actual extensions. There is the black plastic surrounding the wheel well but I dont believe they are actually extending beyond the car, which I would assume the option does?

Thanks in advance.

The standard arch is flat around the wheel, but the optional arch actually angles outward. It is standard on turbo or if optional 21" wheels are chosen. Or can be selected as individual option.

thats what I thought. Thanks man. do you know where I can get them?
I suppose ordering some more aggressive wheels stock 21's or aftermarket 22's might require them to look right then?

I don't think you need them for bigger wheels. It will look just fine with the right offset. I'm thinking about 21 since 22 can get a little rough base on experience.

gammaman is infamous around these parts
I haven't seen it in person, but if you go to the 3-D configurator, it looks like you get more of a wheel molding when you select the wheel arch extension option, even above what you get with the 21" wheels. That, plus a lower body molding, is what you get for $990
