Bah I am not liking the review of the heated windshield. I was assured by my dealer it was LESS noticeable than my 2011 RR I have available.... From the pics not thinking so.
Once I get the CTT I will take side by side pics of both vehicles and compare but I am loosing sleep over yhe heated windshield until I see it first hand.

Great write ups buddy!
Read every one of them.

Been a but busy last few weeks gathering the $60k I am putting down to lower my monthly and interest.

Keep em coming.
Enjoy in good health!

I have the heated windshield and would definitely order it again. Unless I "am looking for it" I don't even notice it. There is a slight effect from oncoming headlights, but I don't find it distracting. It works wonderfully and eliminates having the hot air blowing in your face. It also is great at melting ice from the outside of the window - something that the defroster takes a long time to do. IMHO, I think the pictures greatly exaggerate the effect. Again - just my opinion. Jace, when you get yours, please report on tour thoughts.

Pepper and copasetic I would love to have you here and take you out to some of the best twisties in the PNW like Maryhill loops road, Yakima river canyon road. Then return to my home to load your palate with some very tasty, authentic Indian cuisine... Not the "usual restaurant baloney" My wife is a great chef. Then ofcourse I'll take those checks.
Wow,first some primo twisties to put the pepper through its paces ,AND then some Indian food prepared by a real chef
Its among my favorite and tastiest food to enjoy(ah,the glorious spices and seasonings)
Many thanks for the invite,i look forward to it

Duffy you are absolutely right. My pictures do exaggerate the effect of the lines on those specifically posted close up shots with focus on those lines. My intent was to show them the design of the HW. My guess is that many DO get used to the HW. In your area, the HW function is a lot more rewarding that say in my area since I don't get very much snow. The problem is that even if the HW defogs itself, it still does not negate the need for that blower coz the driver side windows fog up as well .. How do you get rid of that fog unless you switch the blower on ? One more question: Do you feel that over time you have gotten used to the HW effect on the optical clarity or did it not bother you even from day 1 ?

Overdraft is infamous around these parts
DO NOT lose any sleep over the heated windshield. I have one on my new CTT and it is not noticeable. I had a 2008 Range Rover with that HW and it didn't bother me anyway ...Cayenne less so...

I did not even notice the lines until it was brought up in a previous thread we were involved in. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...indshield.html
Love your Cayenne. The espresso/cognac will be the interior of my Turbo S replacement.

keep them coming w00t, we wouldn't expect anything less than the best from you....

I've been busy and distracted. My CTT had a build completion date of Jan 28th but I haven't been following up on it. Our winter here has been awful! hope I don't get the thing until well into March at this point.

That would be good if it comes after all this craziness subsides. Appreciate the kind compliments FJS. I hope the others are enjoying this ride journey too. I have a strong feeling that they are having as much fun as I have had, unveiling the baby .. option by option.

Options on the w00tMOBILE: Compass display on instr panel

Why did I order it: Felt that the dash was a little bland without the compass.

My review: Perfect prop to tie in with the rest of the interior that has an airline c*ckpit feel written all over it. Gives the interior a techie look. Visual spectacle at night. Some may consider it a unwanted "wart" on the dash. Not to me/wifey and more importantly my kids. Enough said, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

BTW, what is the function of a compass do

If I had to do it again: What do you think would be the answer ...please tell me that you had a mini-splurge on this option.....
