Question about New 2011 cayenne S

Hello guys!

I am a new member of 6 speed online.

I just order my new 2011 Cayenne S and I am going to get my car in April!

Once I was deciding the model between Cayenne S and S hybrid. I was

having many question in my head.

So, how much gas the hybrid save? People told me to picked S model

instead of hybrid because it has more power! But It seems cayenne S has

little more power and speed than the hybrid am I right?

So, which model you guys more prefer? and why?

Thank you!

Welcome to 6speedonline. I'm not quite getting it. You have already ordered the CS but want to know now if the hybrid is worth it or not ? Why ? To rue your decision ?
Yes the CS has 20 additional bHp compared to the hybrid and yes many here on 6 speed prefer the CS over the hybrid. Having said that there is nothing wrong with the hybrid. There has been a couple of reports from Asia who had some issues with battery overheating on the hybrids but we have not heard of any issues related to the hybrid here in the USA.
Provided you don't push the accelerator too vigorously, around town you can travel on float mode up to 37mph; by pressing the E-Power button you can delay the point at which, during more spirited driving, the petrol engine cuts in again.
It also has a "sailing" mode; at speeds up to mid 90'smph, when you back off the throttle the engine cuts out and disconnects completely from the transmission, allowing you to coast along economically - touch the accelerator again and the engine restarts and catches up. All this adds to superior gas mileage. If I were to go for better gas mileage, I would personally choose the diesel version which should probably be released in the USA in about a couple of years, but that is purely my guesswork.
