Rear side head rest be removed? 2011

Can these be removed and not just lowered or raised? Kids seat would fit better if removed...

I'll bump one last, then remove.

I'm guessing they are fixed just up and down.

You have to remove the plastic cap at the base of the metal pole. I believes is the one closest to the door, or the other way! But once you remove it, you just have to push in on a tab then whole thing comes out.
