For only a 2011 Cayenne, has anyone installed an auxiliary brake controller? It is different for and '11 then prior year Cayennes.

This would be specifically for electric brakes and LED lights. Porsche, nor VW seem to have a TSB advising hook up installations. All they have is a TSB from 2008, which is not compatible with the '11's.

For anyone to successfully install the auxiliary brake controller for a 2011... which (Prodigy) controller did you use? Diagrams, with specific instructions would be very useful. TIA.

 

mto, caught this today and I am about to do the same thing...called my dealer as I had asked about this at delivery last year. Svc mgr confirmed that it can be done, they have done it, and yes you are correct about the 2011's. The 2011 C, CS and CTT use a pressure sensor for the brake lights. He resolves it by installing the brake light switch from the 2004. If you need more info I can fwd or pass on contact info for dlrship. Hope this helps.
