PASM - How Important for Comfort? Soft? (2011)

I drive pretty conservative and not very hard - how much more comfortable and soft is the V6 PASM for city driving? Does it make the paved city roads less bumpy etc?

I won't be going off-road or on unpaved roads so not sure if it'll make city driving more comfortable

To avoid confusion, please comment only on the new 2011 please

I test drove a Turbo and an S one after the other. Afterwards, I told the sales manager I found the Turbo surprisingly had a noticeably more comfortable ride. The sales manager said it was because the Turbo had air suspension and was in the comfort mode. The Turbo had 19" tires, while the S had 18" tires. I personally would not consider buying a Cayenne without air suspension and PASM.

I would skip it . I have read few forums and people have done fine without it . I may consider it in more in a sports car than this . But again this is my go to work enjoy music, occasional long drive haul kids car .

I think it really depends what you are looking for - PASM not only add comforts but also helps with handling making the car feel a little more agile (from my experience). Again the Cayenne is going to do just fine and feel great without it but there is difference with PASM.

I don't have it, but based on others comments, I think it would only help. I love the ride and drive of my '11 V6. I would assume it be better with PASM, but you don't know what you don't know... The Cayenne is surprisingly agile for a vehicle of its size, even with the standard suspension.

100% agreed.. after driving in my friends full size range rover .. I realized again just how agile the Cayenne is.. quite amazing.
