NAV-TV Rearview Camera

Hello - I'm new to the forum and recently purchased my first Porsche - A 2011 Cayenne.

One option the Cayenne didn't come with was the rearview camera. It does have the parking sensors.

I have thought about adding the NAV-TV rear view camera - I have seen some positive posts in other forums from other customers.

Anyone here have any experiences adding the NAV-TV? Does something like this void the warranty?

Thanks

I have it, you wouldn't be able to tell that it wasn't factory. It is a little wonky, sometimes it won't kick back to the previous PCM screen, you have to touch something on the PCM to wake it.

Did you guys do the install yourselves or have an installer perform the install. I'm pretty handy however if there is any splicing/cutting then I normally let the professionals handle it.

Do you know if there is any special pricing out there? I guess I'm just a little hesitant to pull the trigger on a 1500$ camera + installation if there are still some bugs.

I apologize if this violates the forum rules.

Mine was installed by a pro and we need to call them 2-3 times for tips but it is a good product...

We had an installer do the job. I've only had it now for about a week, I'll be contacting him tomorrow to see if we can work out the glitch, which really is minor.

Since there is no Tequipment option at this time, I'm glad I went with this system - it makes backing up less treacherous.
