How do you TRAIN your new car?

so.. did you get your car delivered? if so..
how do you drive your car///

i try to drive under 120km/h with sports modes.. not using 8th gear!
maybe for about 1000km...

i know this is important for a new car and any help would be great!

Drove it like i stole it
Precision training in Leipzig was a nice break-in
...and a good prelude to the Autobahn
Did my best to keep it under 240 kmh...but can't state i was always successful

There are 2 theories:

Some believe its necessary to drive it hard for the first 1k miles

other believe to stay below 4k rev for with sport mode and avoid cruise control so the engine can see different rpms.

The only constant in my driving was to ALWAYS let everything warm up....before i let it rip
Just one complaint about my pepper is that i could not make it to 300 kmh...mid 280's is as fast as i made it..and that took a few unobstructed, traffic free, miles of "no limits" Autobahn to achieve
Pepper pulls all the way to about 260 and then it would take forever to eek out that extra speed out of it!

yup! warming up is the most basic thing to do!

hopefully/someday our cayenne would reach the 300 barrier!!

i took my baby to 170 today.. but still scared to give it a full blow!!!!!

Now with 2 theories above..(mteddylee) I'm starting to be a hybrid lol!
im kinda pushing the car hard with sports mode^^;;

hopefully i don't have to worry about this next week after i reach 1000km
