Time from Emden-->Davisville (Persons with Cayenne on Order)

my build date was 9/28 and shows on vessel 10/07, my dealer does not have the vessel name or an ETA of arrival in Davisville but I'm sure it should be soon?

anyone have an idea of rough time from Emden to Davisville? or maybe have a vehicle with similar ship date and have more info from your dealer?

Hmmmm....the Horizon Leader left Emden on 10/7 and should have been in Davisville yesterday (10/23). Also, the Nippon Highway also left Emden on 10/7 and was in Brunswick last Friday (10/21) which seems closer to your location. Your Cayenne is probably going through the process of inspection over the next few days and should be on its way to your dealer this week, I would imagine.

i ordered the vehicle from Virginia Dealer so Davisville was the port they said all their cars come from.

i'll check the Horizon Leader however,

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR PROMPT AND PRECISE REPLY!

i looked on marine traffic but the departure dates only go back a few days and emden had hundreds of departures.

The Marine Traffic website is hit and miss. The information isn't always updated well. I had the same build date, but my Cayenne didn't get loaded until 10/13! Still a few weeks away for my Cayenne to arrive.

When you say "build date", do you mean he date it was suppose to be completed at the factory? Because according to my dealer, mine says it is suppose to be completed tomorrow 10/25, but still has the status saying "production paint". If anyone could chime in on this it would ease my anxious mind...

One reason for variation is other ports of call. Sometimes Davisville might be the first port after Germany, other times they may stop in England on the way to drop off cars, and pick up others - for example. Most of the west coast bound ships typically are shared with BMWs and they drop off the BMWs first and then the Porsches. Adds about 4-5 days to those runs.

I had a build date of 9/26, and was (supposedly) completed on the 28th. I don't know that it was since it took 2 weeks to get on a vessel headed west. Also, I think paint is the first step.
