Congrats! The wait is almost over!

Just FYI, my Cayenne took 14 days from arrival at the port to delivery to the dealer. Others with 2012's have been sooner.

 

My cayenne arrived today so now gotta arrange transportation.

Anything I have to do specifically with a new car purchase? I ordered the car over the phone and won't see the car until after premier gets done with the clear bra. Just wondering if I need to tell the dealer anything specific about getting the car ready. I told them not to install the front plate already but that's about it.

 

Your car arrived at port or at the dealer? Thought it wouldnt be for a few weeks?

 

ColoradoCayenne, Which port did you Cayenne arrive in? It's going to be brutal to have to wait 14 more days after porting!!!

 

It's at the dealer as of the 16th. My salesman will be snapping me a few pics shortly since I won't be there during the entire pick up process.

 

C4SxM5, How long did it take from the port to the dealer?

 

i got the email on 11/2 that my car was on the way. Not sure if that was the date that it actually ported or not but the car was delivered so cal so maybe it got there sooner than others in the east coast...

 

He said it's not on his shipping schedule yet and that it may be on an extra shipment. I was hoping I could figure it out based on the vessel ship date but I guess there are to many variables. thx, joe

 

I was just notified my CTT will be loaded on the Shanghai Highway on June 26, 2012 arriving in Brunswick, Georgia July 9. My wife is happy with the name as she was born in Shanghai.

 

Shanghai Highway is in Emden Germany now (2 days later than expected). Google Earth shows lots of cars (from whenever the picture was taken) lined up like soldiers in Emden awaiting loading. I suppose that's the way it looks today. Note the two ships in lower right side of picture.
