Did anyone else order this on their car?? My business partner and i did and our orders are pushed back to a march delivery! it was originally a dec delivery

 

I could have sworn someone posting recently about this same issue. I have tried looking through the post but can't find it.

Here it is, basically he was told the kit was not available for 3 months and had his order pushed back, this was in October. The 3 month delay would explain your December to March build.

i have waited for 8 months! to have it delivered on Nov with Sport Design Package if this will make you feel better! its worth the wait

 

Ordered my CS in Sept and delivered on 11/15.

Got this message right after from my dealer :

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

we have informed you on 10/27/2011 that due to difficulties at suppliers the options "SportDesign package with side skirts" (2D1) and "SportDesign package without side skirts " (2D2) will not be available before 02/2012 production.

Due to the numerous inquiries received, we would like to send you the following updated information:

Reason for the delayed launch of these options are quality problems at a system supplier.
It was confirmed that the options will not be available before 02/2012.
There will be a Tequipment offer for the SportDesign package. Unfortunately, this is also affected by the above-mentioned difficulties. After the launch of the SportDesign package, the supply is ensured for the regular production first. Therefore we cannot inform you about an availability date for the Tequipment offer today.
A compensation of the financial disadvantage of the Tequipment offer can unfortunately not be offered by Porsche AG.
As soon as we have further information, we will inform you immediately.

 

Yes, i have been informed from the dealer if i would like to continue with the same option "sport kit" it will be delayed till march or april ... so instead of "sport kit" i change it to "from and rear stainless"
