I received notice that the New White for Feb and March will be delayed.
I got this message Dec 2011...

“Cayenne Exterior Color 0Q white 12/20/2011
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Unfortunately the new exterior color white (0Q) is still experiencing delays.
Orders for allocation month February and March can be delayed for up to 6 weeks.”

My CTT is slated for production 1-30-12.
Has anyone experienced a delay?

 

I just took delivery of my "new white" cayenne S two days ago. Perhaps the delay came after mine was produced?

 

I hope they had enough "new white" to finish my cayenne. Completed production on 1-12-12, on vessel as of 1-20-12. Paint isn't the only supply they are having issues with. I was informed during the assembly that the guards red gauges I ordered were no longer available but the compass would come with the guards red face. Still not sure what we are going to do when it arrives. Dealer was kind enough to order a black compass as an option to swap when it lands.

 

I was told by my Dealer that it had been worked out and was no longer an issue.
Strange that they would piecemeal your options and include only one item in Red.
Good that the Dealer is ready for all eventualities.

 

Just checked with my sales manager yesterday. My 2012 CS in white is scheduled for completion 1/29.

 

Mine is scheduled
Check point 8 date (which means completion date) is scheduled for 1/30/12
That means either I beat the delay or the notice I received is bunk
