When I put the pedal to the medal, my RPM's shoot up as they should. But, when I take my foot off the pedal, the RPM's stay up for a good 5 seconds or so before dropping back down. I called my local Porsche dealer and he said that's supposed to happen in Sport mode. This happens in Sport mode and in non-sport mode.

Anyone else experience this? I'm thinking I have to bring it in for service. I have about 3K miles but believe this has been happening since I got my Pepper..

 

Happens in my '12 V6. It senses you are driving aggressively and thus holds the gear longer.

 

Same for me in my '12 CS. Happens in both sport and non.
