They say it's only 45 min for both to be done so it's a simple fix with a new part. No headlight re-aim as they are all automatic anyway.

I hope no re-aim. And though it is self leveling, it can still go outta whack. It may level correctly off the bolt-on baseline, but if the baseline is off, the headlight will be off as well.

Correct, self leveling, but they still have to be aimed first. Outlined in the manual.

Got mine yesterday. I'm going to drag my feet, somehow I'm not too worried. I'll wait until an oil change.

2012 CS, November Build, just got mine in the mail. Wife just rashed up the 21" today, so it's convenient to have the SafeGuard Wheel Ins and Headlight done at same time. Anyone know any other recalls, TSB / Software updates while it's in?

Women!

It's a pretty simple correction. The only things that get replaced are the twist-lock piece on the car, and the piece it hooks in to on the bottom of the light, also a small tension spring is added under the locking piece in the headlight opening. I think most dealers have parts by now. No replacing of headlights or re-aiming, as its just the latch parts.

Just had mine done along with my oil change. Quick procedure, took less than one hour including oil change.

I had an issue with the oil overfilled light came on. Mine is a 12 Cayenne, Dec build. Ran the VIN and found the recall. Completed the work last Thursday. Got the recall letter from Porsche on Monday.
