The biggest I would do is 22x10, and you can just swap out the TPMS to the new wheels. For that size You're gonna run a 285/35-22.

As for tire, well that's all subjective, but I have the P Zeros now and love them, but in the past I have really liked Michelins on other vehicles I have had, and when my Pirellis wear out I will try the new Michelin to see how they are.

EDIT- Just saw your in MA, so just swap snow tires on your current wheels.You will need new TPMS though.

22s would be the biggest you would want to run.

We do a lot of 22x10 or 22x10.5s for Cayennes. You can re-use your stock TPMS. The best 22" are the Pzeros right now.

thanks. see, the stock 18 that we have on now - i want to keep them for the winter. I still have the all-season tires that came with the car, which need to be replaced.

So my idea was to get something nice for the summer and then have the stock with winter tires for the winter.

Get a set of 4 tpms OEM for unde 50 bucks for all 4 from tire rack. Work perfectly. Worth it so they don't get damaged attaching and detaching from wheel to wheel.

When I bought 18" Porsche take offs with Blizzaks from the Tire Rack last fall I paid $117 x 4.
I too would be interested.

As a few others have said, 22x10 would be optimal, and we use a 295/30/22 tire.

Here's a pic of our 22" RG5-B. Monoblock, fully forged, and pretty darn sexy on the 958 if I do say so myself.

You can go with 24" as the biggest size which looks good and it doesn't affect the handling and ride quality that much. We have done them in 24, 23, 22 and 21 inch fitments so far! We've done more than a few Cayennes, so here are our suggestions!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't dig anything bigger than 21. Bigger than 21 requires spinners.

And why is that? No really, have you seen the newer cars in person with larger wheels? It's not like they have small wheel wells which cannot swallow the larger wheels!

It's all just personal choice. I agree that anything above 21" is just too big - but that is just me.
