Finally got the CMPPRD
Finally got the CMPPRD
For those not conversant in Porsche Code, that means that my CTT build was completed. Placed the order Jan 2 but been thinking about it since 2 weeks before Thanksgiving in 2009. Today I got the email. I know the common wisdom is that the weeks coming up are the hardest when all you can do is wait......but just knowing that it is built and being shipped brings a smile to my face.
I have read virtually every post on the 958 Board and quite a few on the 957 as well in preparation. It's the ultimate preparation for the ultimate SUV.

Mine got put on the boat end of first week of July last year, was at the airport on July 19th going to Itlay when Hennessy sent me pics it arrived. I was gone for 12 days. That sucked...
Got back in the states on Friday night and the flatbed truck with my new 2012 came to pick up my 2011 Saturday at 9 am. Outstanding service. You should have it by first of April.
Congrats!

If I get it by first of April it will be either a miracle from above or an April Fool's joke.
I am assuming you meant first of May.
It still has to pass some checkpoints, and then I believe it takes a few days to get from the Factory to the boat. From what I've read here ,the boat ride is 12-14 days, then a few days at the port in Brunswick, GA. Besides having some of the most beautiful women in the world and surprisingly tasty Asian food, the other advantage of living in Atlanta is that it is only a 5 hour flatbed ride from the port to the Dealer. So once the boat docks....the Cayenne is as good as here.
