Just introducing myself

Whats up guys? Figured I'd introduce myself as I've started frequenting this forum since I should be ordering/picking up a Cayenne S in the near future!

I currently have an E90 M3 that I picked up in Germany last March. However my wife had a baby in June and space in my car or her G37x sedan is limited so I am parting ways with her in the next week or two so that we can get a 'truck'.

Welcome and congrats
Your M3 looks beautiful:lovely deep blue and sweet 'spyder style' wheels
Isn't driving on the autobahn a hoot?
Just wondering,is there a speed limiter on BMWs?whats the fastest you had it up to?what did you think of its high speed handling?
Ps:I was considering getting an M3 convertible and driving it around Germany, but would be a little disappointed if I could not get it above 155mph...

Thanks! The rims for the competition package on the M3 are awesome to look at; not so awesome to clean/wax. I loved driving in Germany. Everyone abides by the rules of the road, the roads were flawless (at least where I drove) and the autobahn was extremely fun! I only had her up to 130mph(up to 120 on the video below) while I was there. Its limited to 155mph but didn't get her up that far since I thought I'd be keeping the car for years and wanted to break her in right!

At 130mph the M felt like it was doing 60. The thing I noticed was that cars and exits were coming and going much faster than usual!

The fun begins at 6:20 and on from there. Its a 24 minute boring video with some driving clips in the middle.

Thanks for sharing the video
Smart move to take it easy with the breaking-in
Though not quite how I went about it with my CT..177(indicated) top speed within the first few hours of ownership
The second and third day was on Porsche's Leipzig track for Porsche driving school..Now that's what I call breaking it in
It has performed flawlessly so far(9000 miles)
You will love your CS and its comfort and amazing driving dynamics will help you get over the M3

Suncoast is your friend. They are like $45 or so and very simple to install using the fishing line method (search the forum for this)
