My pleasure,
I had it done at Porsche of Naples
Took longer(about a week) than I thought for them to remove DME,send to GIAC,have it shipped back and then installed..but other than that,it has performed flawlessly..also they offer Panamera loaners
A good,if not better, option is to drive over to Pompano and have it done at Champion Porsche(whose wheels I have )

Thanks, I've been to Porsche of Naples - something to consider. I would love to run over to Champion as well, just to see their facility.

Partly correct, yes an ecu tune but not a full exhaust. Instead all you need is some secondary cat bypass pipes. They are around $700 brand new and then around $3300 for an ecu tune, EVOMS or GIAC. The bypass pipes will give you around 30hp gain and the tune will give an additional 80; are the claims at least. What is important is you will really feel it as pepper as already stated.
I will be selling my bypass pipes on here soon, as I have sold my CTT already.

Did you do the cat bypass pipes first without the ECU? If so, did you notice any difference?

Yes, I did the bypass pipes 6 weeks before getting the tune. The turbo's spooled much faster and their was a lot more pull down low. There is also a nice V8 rumble on idle and low speeds. IMO, there is no reason to spend several thousand on a full exhaust when this is an option.

Any issues with passing smog?

Advertised as having no issues passing smog. There are many local shops here that will pass your car no matter what for a small fee.
If that is not an option you can always replace the cats back on with less then 1 hour of labor to pass your test.

adelaide is infamous around these parts
drove an "S" last night - caveat - it was the dealer's loaner and had little to no options (nevermind performance options). So it was a little underwhelming from a performance point of view - but very nice from a cabin, comfort and 'cruise' point of view.

Left me with the feeling (my opinion only) - you either go full on Turbo to get some driving enjoyment (or a lot going by the enthusiastic owners here) - or you go full "luxury economy" with a V6/Diesel with the luxury options you want.

Paying up for an S would make me just want a Turbo.

Well, I would agree. I skimped on the audio and stayed with a Bose even though I can't stand Bose (partly because of the high cost of the Burm for an audio system) and because I wanted to divert the funds to get all of the performance options (minus the PCCB).

I can say that I'm happy I did. Like I said in another thread, the CTT feels more and performs better than my Audi TT and I'm sure a lot of cheaper sports cars.
