Static Cornering Lights
Static Cornering Lights
I was wondering if anyone has replaced or upgraded their Static cornering lights? And if you did, what color and wattage bulb did you use?
I recently upgraded my HID Xenons to 6000K, and now when I turn, the stock halogens of the cornering lights are much more noticeable in color difference. I realize since these lights come on and off quite frequently when turning, it is probably not advisable to move to HIDs. LEDs probably doesn't make much sense either with their lower light output, since technically these do function as headlights.
So I was thinking of ordering some H11 Halogens that are either tinted closer to the 6000k white color like the Hoens, or Nokya, or maybe even SYLVANIA Silverstars. The only thing is, I don't know should I go with the 55W ones like the fog lights or 70W / 80W ones for headlights. My concern is that the higher wattage halogens will burn out too fast, but the lower lower wattage lights will not produce enough light to be usable.
