Folding Mirrors

I just took delivery of my 2013 TT. It's amazing. Is there a way to have the mirrors fold inward everytime the car is turned off. I have the entry & drive. I know that I can hold down the door button for 2 seconds and the mirrors will fold. The instruction book states that "folding mirrors" is an option under "locking". I can not seem to find that menu.

My 2013 CTT doesn’t have folding mirrors as an option under locking either.

I don’t think it’s an option. Are you sure you’re not confusing it with the ‘automatically dipping nearside mirror when reversing’ option that’s somewhere else?

When they mean option while locking, that means you have the option of holding down the lock button either on key or door to fold in the mirrors.

I tried that today for the first time heh.

If Herman the German is listening - an option to automatically fold the mirrors every time the car is locked would be a great feature.

Also they could add a feature to automatically close the tailgate!

I parked at the Supermarket at the weekend, locked up and as I was walking away thought - I'll fold the mirrors. By accident pressed the rear tailgate button on the remote. Then I had to turn around and walk all the way back to close it again!
