Hey RAK. I am sitting on my thumbs waiting for the call. I have the check in hand and ready to rock! It has been about a week since it arrived in Rhode Island so it has to be any day. I left a message today with salesman but no call back. I have cleaned out my garage to make slightly more room for the beast. It will look delicious on the epoxy floor. I will blast on here when it arrives. Thanks for thinking of me.
Rob.

you must be on pins and needles waiting. PM me your dealer..Im curious.
You will have to swap to winter tread right away with temps in the mid 40's.. you know when u think about it its crazy that they deliver SUV AWD in January in New England with hipo summer tires, and a disclaimer about there use.
I recall when i was awaiting my 2003-4 CTT and a poor guy had one of the first in USA on a rennlist forum..picked it up in RI and was driving to VA, and got caught in a late spring snow and got stuck in a motel parking lot. I said gee whats up with that..this thing has AWD. I had no clue..but summer tires with AWD is meaningless in the winter

OK. I PM'd the dealer info. I called this morning and he said another customers car hadn't cleared the paperwork in R.I. so the 4 cars haven't been sent down yet. Yes the pins and needles continue.

I understand about swapping to winter tires but I am still deciding on the wheels to get. I have to act now. As you said one has to let it sink in about the summer tires not cutting it in this weather.

So you just did another FL trip? Are you down there or up here? I can't keep up with your mania.

Rob.

Yup another trip..Back up north til end of January.
When u get your CTT you will see how easy it is to decide to drive rather than fly...and u have your car with u. no concern about weather, delays, cancellations or long lines.
I have never put mileage on a car as fast as this one...and will continue to do so when the CTTS arrives. Just remember on break in (i have borken in over 35 new hipo cars) keep the revs around 4500..but go through the gears continually and as often as possible..Get on a highway and just upshift and downshift the gears applying different throttle for the first few hundred miles..This allows everything to seat..and does not tax the breaks which should be employed gently.
I have never had an oil usage issue with any vehicle broken in this way.

Maybe with the older models, not sure. However, my wife uses a 2013 Diesel as a DD. We have the stock 21 Turbo wheels with summer tires on it. We got a good snowfall here in Cincinnati and it was before I swapped in the snow shoes. I drove it to my shop, on roads covered in snow with no issues. Granted, it is much more stable with snow tires on it now, but was able to go anywhere I needed with the summer tread.

Off road mode was even more capable with the AWD in a much more "aware" mode.

Glad you r on winter tread. I would not want to chance a winter on summer tires.
U certainly checked a few boxes on the build list
You will welcome the ccbs. The brake dust on those white wheels would have driven you insane. My Black wheels need constant attention. I have CCBs ordered on my CTTS
Would luv interior shots.

I will look. I think it was the end of November. However, it's tucked away in my off site storage. When I go out, hopefully this weekend, I will look.

As for interior shots, I have a few. I will upload in the next day or so. The fire extinguisher is too cool.

svoshop, according to Porsche, starting Nov, the Cayenne PCM should be able to display album art and there is also onboard hard drive for music storage. Just want to see how these new features play out.
