I hope this info helps. I was seeing the conficting info. in regards to Diesel Oil change intervals. Maint. Manual does not specify every 5k miles for the Diesel, it just states every 10k miles. But everything else I have "Heard" says 5k miles for an oil change. So my Pcar dealer printed this up for me.

Porsche NA should send out an "Insert" to put in your manual. I am not sure if they are required to, but they better get on it! Audi does it often.

Notice the Publication date. My CD was built in July, sold in October, so I am the manuals were not updated.
Come on Porsche NA, get it together and send out an aftersales maint. insert!!

*This could be trouble for a 1st or 2nd owner of a diesel cayenne that just reads his Owner Documents and there is no insert stating what the original car documents do not state!!

 

interesting... so is the dealer supposed to "know" this??? wonder what this means if you've purchased a maint package
