I use the stop start on my 958 2011 Cayenne S regularly but when tried to use it uphill the car's uphill holding function doesn't work and it just rolls back when you lift your foot off the breaks so the car could start. Its quite dangerous and could catch you off guard. Any solutions? as in my country almost half the roads are uphill and traffic jams are common.

 

The auto start stop function is only suppose to work when on level ground. Exactly for this reason. I am not sure if there is a gyro in the vehicle that measures this. Maybe something might be off with the calibration.

 

My s doesn't have such issue. It auto start/stop with auto hill hold working normally.
