Hey guys, I went out today and noticed that the audio is jammed ! Nothing works, No FM, no AUX, no CDs whatsoever. It doesn't switch from say AUX to FM if i choose that, it stays in AUX but no sound is heard at all. I can't switch to any other source! But if i choose Map for ex, it will take me there, anything not audio related is working properly. Its just the audio that is jammed. Its stuck and can't go anywhere, and without sound.


Help?

I'll tell you what my tech friend said they do for most electrical glitches in the new Porsches- they disconnect the battery for a day or so, reconnect it and everything reboots and works most of the time. Like taking the battery out of your phone. It's worth a try.

I switched off the engine and left it for a couple of hours and now it's working just fine.

Same thing happened twice to my '13 GTS as it seems the audio software froze and I couldn't change anything in the audio part of the PCM. Cleared itself after stopping and resuming later. Hasn't happened again for several months so have forgotten about it for the time being, unless reoccurs and becomes more persistent.
