RAK CTTS update?
I'll probably leave exhaust stock, and just sit and enjoy the 16 speaker Burmester.
If I want exhaust sound I just start up the 16M Scuderia. Nothing sounds like a screaming Ferrari. The C63 BS is no slouch for sound either.
But I envy the sound of your turbo.
It's glorious

!Cheers,
Rak,
Awesome build and spec man. Congrats!
I have thought about the two tone on my regular CTT build. I think I would like it, but my wife would probably get tired of it, and me her whining.
Again, congrats!

Cheers,
Big Easy! What's up mate?
Yeah, coming back to the 958 CTT. Tried my hand at the Panamera GTS for a bit. Like it, just don't love it. The CTT is a MUCH better fit. Got a thread started on my build in this forum. Should be here end of June.

Nice! It looks like you have the SportDesign wheel with the stitching. Is the stitching on the inner rim and the outer rim of the wheel? Hard to tell in the picture. I was thinking of getting the same.
Also, with that wheel, how to control the switchable view in the instrument cluster (the dial second to the right that can show music, nav, etc) since you don't have the scroller on the wheel?

Stitching on inner Seam of steering wheel all around
It's cross stitched in red very bold and workmanship first class
Have never seen a wheel stitched on outer rim??
Stalk on steering wheel controls all display in the gauge you refer to
Easy to use
I don't like the thumb controls for the tip on the multi wheel
All my current cars have paddles that operate same way
Right up left downshift
The multi wheel has both sides up or down

Great, that's what I thought. I am ordering a GTS and I definitely want to do the sport wheel that comes standard w/ paddles. Debating about adding the green stitching (I'm doing the peridot interior) to the wheel. It's a nice touch
Your car looks great - enjoy!

Stitch the wheel with pridot.
Just insure the order specifies the correct code 2S1 I believe for green. and FC1 for control purposes.
Porsche is somewhat renown for screwing up stitching orders...they stitch only what is ordered in the color ordered whether it matches or not

I will definitely be double-checking it. Thanks!
Also it looks like you did carbon package, carbon grab handles, but the aluminum shifter rather than the carbon shifter. Did this turn out nicely? The regular shifter, even with carbon, does look kind of plain. I thought about doing what you did, but I wasn't sure if the larger aluminum shifter would match when you have the carbon surround. The shifter "plate" is still aluminum-look, and there's various other aluminum-look trim in the car, so I think it does still match.

Yes I did the "Exclusive" order on the Aluminum shifter on purpose.
The OEM shifter with carbon is the exact OEM shifter with smooth leather. It is flimsy. I replaced the OEM shifter in my CTT with the aluminum shifter from Suncoast and was amazed and the difference in heft. Plus I really like the the feel of the Aluminum shifter, very macho
The Aluminum base and sides of the shifter match the trim plate and alumunum surround on the AC, steering wheel, and starter key. Plus you get much more smooth leather on the shifter.
