Unbearable...
..we were fortunate enough to get our Turbo S in December (first 958 registered in the UK), the sad thing is the wife crashed it the a couple of weeks ago. Not too bad and the important thing is that she was Ok.
But the car is not going to be back with us until 15th April at the earliest, and having had the car 3 months and been in awe of it and totally loving it the waiting is driving me crazy.
Its worse than the wait after ordering it new because we have had the opportunity to enjoy it and know how awesome the car is.
Sorry dull post, just needed to share with people that would understand, the wife in unsympathetic to my sadness!

Your wife wrecks your brand new car and then has no sympathy about not seeing it for a few months?
Maybe you should point out what it did for her to keep her safe so she can be so unsympathetic...
Just kidding, glad she is ok. I'm sure the Cayenne will be good as new when you get it back.

Oh man gutted for you! As said at least the wife is OK. I really do hope she said sorry though! My wife scuffed one of my wheels once and went out and bought me a present to say sorry.
Only a few more weeks to wait and it will be back nice and shiny!
All the best

Sorry to hear about your situation. Look at the bright side. You'll get it back soon. Not to make your pain any worse, tell us about your TTS experience. How does it perform? Does it really suck up gas like a tank? How's the pdcc/PTV combo?
That would, of course, depend on a driver that is capable of making use of the increased handling characteristics and being able to react in enough time.
Technically since the typical V6 doesn't get the performance options (Air, PASM, PTV, etc..), the TTS would be a safer vehicle given it's increased ability to avoid the accident altogether (or change the angles and reduce the damage).

Good one.
If the car was just for her use exclusively I would probably have got a different one, but a friend of mine has had a TT for a while and I have always admired it and its ability to bend the laws of physics.
Thanks for all you nice messages, I should be clear although the wife is unsympathetic for the wait for it to return she was extremely apologetic, but clearly I was only worried about her and our, at the time seven week old baby who was in the back. Who despite the impact the baby didn't even wake from his slumber (the occupant of the other car that was involved took over an hour to be extracted from their car and who fortunately its turns out is unharmed) the Cayenne did an amazing job.
