Makes a BIG difference...so happy we did it. LED lights are also a huge upgrade.

Yeah on the LED's. Mine came with them and they are stunning.
You did the right thing! Enjoy.

I think the full LED package should be standard on the turbo...changing them out was ...same housings, same everything, just different bulbs. Such a huge amount of $$ as a factory option for nothing. Nuts.

The Extended LED Pkg does not give you any extra lights, you can pretty much buy all the bulbs for less than $100 with after market LED bulbs. You can spend 10 times more money and feel better thinking you got 'factory' bulbs, but Porsche does not manufacture LED bulbs.

There is a lot to be said for simplicity and ease, and even if that is true that someone else makes it and Suncoast sells it, it arrived in one box and was easy to install and worked perfectly without setting off any sensors. I also enjoy my relationship with Suncoast, so there is that, too. Thanks, though!

The Extended LED Pkg does not include the license plate light, therefore no issues with sensors/error codes.

Got that from Suncoast, too. Worked great! And well-priced.

I've also went with the aftermarket LEDs much cheaper for everything except the rear view mirror puddle light.
JCBH, did you install them yourself? If you did it yourself, then any pointer on replacing the rear view mirror puddle light?
Thanks

I actually had my body shop friend do it - but I was with him...pretty straightforward to do.

Pepper09tt,

Did they widen the Pano roof in the later MY 958's? I thought I remember the Pano roof being sized smaller in the MY'11 958 and even my service adviser speaking to that.

Thanks TGED/JCBH for your responses.
But my rear view mirror housing is not so straight forward at all. I have a 2013 Cayenne GTS with lane change assist. After removing the mirror, I still could not access the housing for the light because it is under an internal metal housing bracket that is connected to the top metal part. I'll take a picture and post it when I have a chance.

Congratulations. Beautiful just 5 or so more weeks for us. I am so glad I got the Pano roof. Only negative was the exterior black option was something I decided on after the lock in date . Oh well.

Thanks! We had a black/black 2011 Cayenne Turbo for 2.5 years and the new one for a week...LOVE the white. Lots of comments on this color combo. The car is perfect now, for our tastes. Thanks for all the compliments!
