5 days left until pick-up. Expecting the program to be fun but inflexible. Grateful to read responses from anyone who took their factory pick-up a bit "off script", or just general suggestions to help get more out of the great experience one expects. Thanks all.

 

Checkout Pepper09tt's posts and his amazing pictures. I did it last year. A lot of the experience is what you do with the up to 16 days of travel you have that is covered by their insurance. My trip was blogged: eurpor.blogspot.com in reverse chronological order.

Try and get one of the cars that have the camera inside and outside so you can take home on a USB the hot tracks with the Porsche Driver. See example:

 

That was good advice. But pickup was yesterday morning, and agree it was a fantastic experience, with the track segment being undoubtedly the highlight. Took a video with iphone when the test driver drove a couple laps, but it is unsurprisingly quite shaky! incredible what the cayenne can do, as can only be demonstrated by a pro-driver on the track. and that the same car can then do the stuff it did on the offroad test track...wow. before disparaging the cayenne with "it isnt a sports car, just an overpowered suv" you really need to ride next to a profi on the test track. respect, porsche, respect!
