Just ordered a '14 Cayenne!!
14 Cayenne V6 Tiptronic
Color: Black
Interior: Luxor Beige
Options:
Premium package plus
18" Cayenne S wheel
Color crest center caps
Aluminum rocker panels
Sirius/XM receiver
Ordered from Porsche of Arlington which has to be the worst looking Porsche dealer/showroom in the world..a KIA dealership looks like a Bentley dealership in comparison. I doubt most of the salesman even speak fluent English. However..got the best deal from them in the DC area.
Car for my wife, currently drives a 100K miles Lexus RX..so the Cayenne will be an upgrade for sure!
Can't wait!!

no air? pasm?
base stereo 100 watts?
I say this in the politest way possible...you should have bought your wife a fully loaded VW Touraeg for cheaper.....its the same ride without the badge and has a 500 watt stereo system.
Congratulations!! Your wife is going to love it. You'll have to post a few pictures when it arrives
Trending Topics
..First of all, I drove the base suspension with 18" wheels - the ride was smooth with minimal road noise, I don't need to show off to my neighbors how I can turn my SUV into a monster truck with rock climbing ground clearance. Secondly - if you did your research, the "base" stereo is actually not the one I ordered. The premium plus package (upgraded PCM + Nav) includes the upgraded 235 watt stereo with 10+ speakers which sounded fine by my ears and more importantly was good enough for my wife.
As the old saying goes: "If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all". Tired of dealing with these keyboard warriors.
Back on topic - can't wait for my Cayenne!
Pics as soon as it is delivered
Enjoy! Going to be a long wait, no?
P of Arlington is undergoing major rehab - at least they were when I left. Friend of mine said they just razed the old showroom. BMW dealer used to be next door and they absorbed that space when they moved to Alexandria.

For me the decision was simple, SUV with AWD and 6MT, the Cayenne was the only one still made.
I test drove a 6MT 2013 Cayenne at the dealer and loved the car!
I should get mine in Oct/Nov ... can't wait!
I am going to use this thread to introduce myself to the forum.
I have ordered a Diesel. Should have been built by now and be on the boat next month.
Like the OP, did not order the air suspension or the PASM. I test drove one with the 19" wheels without these options and liked the ride. I had a 2005 Boxster without the electronic damping and it was fine. I did choose the 19" wheels like the Cayenne I test drove, the premium package plus, the adaptive cruise control, voice control and the AHA internet integration.
Can't wait.
[Edit: Not that it matters much, but the lane departure warning feature is now standard with the premium package plus.]

I just made a deal for a GTS on the lot. I pick it up Friday. I fell to the loaner ploy!....damn I'm such a sucker. Our 2006 **** was in for a door latch issue that took 10 days. They loaned us a brand new loaded C6. Sure enough I get to the dealer to pick up the old car and there before my eyes is a beautiful new white GTS.....ouch to the wallet, but O'well, the wife will certainly be happy.
I really enjoyed the C6 quite a bit, even coming from the V8. I just couldn't resist the GTS.
