Self install clear bra from e-bay
Has anyone tried installing this type of clear bra for your Cayenne? For $80 including shipping, it's really nothing compared to $450+ at the dealer just for the hood protection by 3M.

Or this 3M film at $ 330 including shipping. I think 3M is a better product out there.

I did. I wrapped whole car. (front, back, hood, fender, door, roof, and so on lol)
Do not believe Ebay. I bought them '9mil' thickness but I've got around 5-6 mil.
Oracal ORAGUARD 280 Stone Guard Laminate Film 60" x 30' - this is really good. similar thickness of ipad or iphone protector clear film (Zagg).
Oracal 8300 Transparent Cal Middle Grey 3 mil 15" x 10 yards - this is good for headlight or tailight.
Oracal 651 Intermediate Cal Black 2.5 mil 15" x 10 yards - this is for roof.
I paid 599.40(280) + $31(8300) +$16(651)+tax for oraguard 280. it was not enough for whole car.
I also don't recommend pre-cut film. it's harder than bulk.
when I ask to dealer or clear bra installer, the price was over $1000 for only front. but I just paid around $700 for whole car.

Most of the ebay products are junk and are not true paint protection films. I have seen numerous people over the years order "kits" only to find out it is actually clear vinyl not paint protection film.
