I think PDCC helps with tire wear...

This is no way scientific way to prove but this is from my general observation.

I had a 2010 Cayenne GTS bought new, the OEM Yokohama Advan's lasted 18K.
- Then I replaced it with Micheline Latitudes that gave me 22k
- Replaced it again with Latitudes and was almost toast at 15k.

Now I have a 2013 Cayenne Turbo with PDCC and PTV where I am running 22' Michelin Diamaris since I bought it new. I have 28K on the clock. Never one rotation, and the front tires are not wearing out towards the outer part of the tire. Truly remarkable. The rear's have about 3k more left in them and the front easily has another 10k.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is the fault of the PDCC, or maybe the diet the Cayenne's went on....

I thought I had seen an older post suggesting the same thing. I hope it's true!

porscheman170 is on a distinguished road
I had 2 sets of the Pirelli P Zero and they both were completely bald at 10k and 8k so I think it's more the tire treadwear than anything else.

I'll trade the lesser expense of tires over PDCC service.

I've some Eagle LS2s on my 17 GTS (sans PDCC) with 27k on them and they've still got decent tread left. I don't like these tires, but they're holding up. I think I'll replace them at the next winter/summer changeover.
