Thanks! Aero kit going on next week along with some other minor mods. I'll keep this thread updated as the car progresses. Gonna keep the mods simple and nothing like the TA Magnum it replaces....

Thanks.
That was the first thing that came to my mind too. The earthquake and tsunami in Japan directly impacted the leading auto camera company in the world. I guess it makes sense that a shortage occurred sometime after the March 2011 event. For whatever reason, i thought it mainly resulted in 2012 MY vehicles impacted.

fwiw: I bought a new '12 Touareg in Jan. 2012 that had the camera delete with 600.00 credit. I would have rather had the camera and to install after the fact was closer to $1k.

Some pics of the aero kit and body modifications being done at Final Touch Collision in West New York. FT does unbelievable work and I can't wait to see the finished product... more to come...

Body work:
Black out front grills (now body color)
OEM Aero kit with wing (smooth any textured pieces)
Clear corners
Paint rear emblem black
Color match rear bumper lower reflectors
Color Match rear Hatch lower trim
Delete tow hook (never towed anything with my old CTT and have wife's Q7 for tow duty if need be)

I'm sure I'm missing some things but that most of it.

I haven't personally used FT but a lot of my friends go there. Definitly do great work.

Your Cayenne is looking sweet. I'm actually near them as I type this. Hanging out on 60th and broadway.

Looks nice!

So.. Are you blacking out the grills or painting them sand white?

Funny... I have nearly this same vehicle and I just spent 2K putting on the tow hitch! I should have just parked next to you in the body shop.

Yup FT does great work! Maybe we'll run into each other one day!

Yup blacking out grills.... My list of mods is a few posts up.

Yeah the new bracket without the tow hitch was less than $400 and I never tow so I decided to clean up the rear of the car by taking it out. I will be saving my tow bar so any future owners can choose to just have it put back on if they want it.

Picked up the Cayenne and could not be happier! Anyone who needs body work in the NNJ look up Final Touch collision in West New York. Robert and his crew are the best!

I was amazed at how many pieces the aero kit actually consists of. I saved my old trim and the amount of boxes is pretty unbelievable. I can see why Porsche charges as much as they do for this option. Lots of pieces to paint...

Extraordinary. What a difference the sports package makes. Looks similar to RAK's Turbo S. And you have something unique with the European rear end like Kechang has. ( I am attaching a pic of his.) Congrats.
