At a minimum the Xenons are standard now. Sounds like Bose might be standard too. There was also a hell of a performance bump with the new motor. Not that I like or agree with the new pricing model, but on the face of it there is some justification.

Anything is possible, but to use the new bumper on the current 958 you'd have to also replace the hood and I'd bet on the fenders and headlights too. I would also guess that there are far fewer reusable parts between the old and new styles like there is between the current plain and TT bumpers. For most I would guess it's cost prohibitive.

I'm also bummed about the steering wheel. I thought it would be nice swap, but the pictures look exactly like the Macan wheel which means that the airbag module is smaller and therefore (to me) cost prohibitive as you'd have to replace the AB too.

No big changes, no big deal. Turbo S no longer on model listing, as it wont be available for a while.
As predicted, PDK na on Cayenne. My 14 looking good.

Based on wirx's link, you'd have to replace your mirrors too (side markers) to put the new bumper on a .1. That's also going to require some wiring changes I'd imagine.

I do like the new steering wheel, prefer the the thicker wheel like the X5M. Not sure what to make of the new lights. The front ones I don't like so much, the rear ones I haven't made up my mind.

I do like the move of moving the side blinkers into the side mirrors, but almost all cars have that now.

went to site couple hours ago and couldn't configure a cayenne. Thought the '14 run was all done. I like the '15 so far.

I'm following a few "new cayenne" threads, but I haven't seen this mentioned yet:

Looks like Sport Plus is finally coming to the Cayenne.

WTF?
Coasting
Other energy-saving technologies include the ability to coast along in certain situations, e.g. when you take your foot off the accelerator pedal to reduce your speed slowly. The engine is decoupled from the transmission and slowed to idle speed to prevent deceleration caused by engine braking.
I use engine braking all the time! It's great way to drop speed slowly without the waste of braking.

Next they'll remove downshifting for deceleration

Assuming this feature is similar to the Macan, if you turn the auto start/stop function off, you won't coast and the car will act as normal.

It appears Sport Chrono also available now on Turbo. These option would seem to cancel comfort and normal damper settings.Interesting.

Ahh...

Now if they'd let you have it stay off over restarts

From the microsite I got the impression that it was an option on all the models. The only thing I saw with a model limit was PTV+.

At the Porsche driving school they emphasized that using gearing to slow your speed is not used anymore because brakes are so good that is the proper way to shed speed before a corner. It keeps the car balanced better and saves unneeded wear and tear on the drive train. Down shifting is only used to get into the proper gear to accelerate out of the corner after all the necessary speed has been shed by the brakes. If you are driving a TR3 you might want to use the old style of down shifting.

Yeah I'm old school, but I'm talking about the street rather than the track.

Your worst fuel economy (other than WOT) is when you have to start off from a complete stop. By using downshifting and engine braking I can see as much as a 5mpg (according to PCM) difference for my commutes than when I use braking alone when crawling through traffic.
