This unfortunately I cannot tell you as it was 4 years ago. The part number was the same so it was from cayenne *but* it is not impossible that it is the same part as from VW

thanks. I called Porsche service and they said it’s uncommon that main brake cylinder brakes down
But I think the problem is in this unit
i found assembly cylinder + booster (vacuum) from cayenne turbo so will try to install and uptade here

Well guys I had same problem with same car Diesel 3.0 2011
the brake pedal was spongy and dropped slowly when car is stopped.
i changed the brake fluid (Pentosin dot 4 need about 2 liters) by using machine which also takes abs unit and avoid any air in system And changed the master brake cylinder (took used from turbo model although they are same with diesel) and also installed new brembo brake pads and rotors
now the brakes are like from factory- super strong pedal and braking mā šāʾAllāh
thanks for this tread! Good luck on roads

LOL ... It happened to me last year while bleeding my 2016 Panamera4. I let air in the system. I tried rebleeding many times, I was not able to get the brake pedal firmly. end up, towed my car to Porsche dealer and paid $200 for brake bleeding. I was pretending there was an issue with brake since my car is still under warranty. Porsche told me it was brake bleeding issue. LOL ...
Next time I will put the fluid in my motive pressure bottle , not using it as pressure to push fluid out. We will see ...

Glad you are able to get it working ...
